The fine print

Storage & cookies

Last updated: 17 June 2026

Pacific Legion uses a small amount of browser storage to make the game work and to remember a couple of your choices. We keep this as light as possible, and we explain it all in plain language here.

What we store, and why

Rather than traditional advertising cookies, we mainly use your browser's local storage. Here is everything we keep:

  • Age confirmation — remembers that you confirmed you are 18 or over, so you are not asked on every visit. This is essential for the site to work as intended.
  • Storage preference— remembers whether you chose “accept all” or “essential only” from the storage notice, so we do not ask again. This is essential.
  • Game display and sound settings — the game may remember preferences such as sound and music being on or off while you play, to keep your experience consistent.

What we do not use

We do not use advertising cookies, behavioural trackers or third-party marketing tags. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not share storage information with advertisers. Because there are no payments, we never store any financial information.

Your choice

When you first visit, a storage notice lets you choose “accept all” or “essential only”. The essential items above are needed for the site to function. If we ever add anything beyond the essentials, choosing “essential only” will keep it switched off.

How to clear your local data

You are always in control. To remove what we have stored, clear this site's browsing data and site data in your browser:

  • Chrome / Edge:Settings → Privacy and security → Clear browsing data → choose “Cookies and other site data”.
  • Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data, then remove this site.
  • Firefox:Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data.

Once cleared, the game simply treats you as a new visitor and asks you to confirm your age again.
